"Cloth Cue Shaft Slicker"

Shaft slicker

Use with caution. This shaft slicker is very abrasive and will take off too much material if you're not careful. This might be good if you have an old shaft that needs refinishing. Would not use this on you expensive shaft that need minimal smoothing.

this is one aggressive slicker. light pressure is key and not recommended for daily use as it does take a thin amount of material off the shaft upon use.

Not for casual use

I stopped using this because I was afraid it was too abrasive. The construction makes it very easy to use but the inside feels like one of those flat green plastic kitchen scrubbing pads. I did not like course abrasive feeling and use Serberts Q-Wiz instead. If I had a spot on my cue that needed something this strong to clean I would probably send it to Seyberts for professional attention or I would use the corner tip of a kitchen pad so I could see exactly what I was doing and focus on that one spot.

Good only for house cues...

This tool is much too aggressive to the shaft - if you will use it every day, you will need a new shaft every year, or maybe even more often.
This thing is only good to have in the pocket when you don't have your cue and want to play with a clean house cue... Otherwise - think about another option...

Sands your shaft

If you're the type that gets a new shaft for your cue every couple of years then this product might be fine. However, this shaft slicker is actually a sander. If you rub this on your cue shaft for a couple minutes and blow down the center of the tube, you will see a tiny bit of shaft dust/saw dust. Not a good thing if you use this product daily.

I bought this from Seyberts and i like it, for the price which is ridiculous low, you get a nice piece of cloth, with a shape that fix your shaft easily.

It leaves your shaft smooth, can also use some cue products on this slicker and then rub it on the shaft

Not too happy

This product didnt really agree with me seemed like it was taking and reducing the shaft diameter and was very concerned with this, would not recommend

"JT, The 314 shaft you sent me for my Balabushka is a gem! I wasn't sure that a shaft could make that much of a difference, but brother I'm a believer. Thanks for your personal help. The rings look great and it is a true precision weapon. Looks like I'm going to win the league this time! I am telling everyone about you. Dave Lewis"
