Takes more skill
I bought this jump cue hoping it would not take too firm of a hit to jump. Initially it did. I then replaced the tip with a White Diamond, which has mad getting over the ball easier, and control also easier. The phenolic tip was not wide enough for easy precision. Previously owned original Predator Air which I was happy with but needed to sell. Now I'm considering other brands. Don't buy a jump cue without testing it out. They all hit different

Nice feel nice look
I have purchased several jump cues and consider myself a skilled player. I had very high hopes for this jump cue but find it difficult to be consistent. It would tank last amongst my last 3 jump cues. The Cuetec bullet, and Air Predator 2 definitely out perform this cue. It does the job of getting a hit but keeping the cue ball where you want it is a completely different challenge. I'm sure with more practice it will be just fine.

Best Jump Cue I Have Used
As the title indicates this is by far the best dedicated jump cue I have used. I have tried and used Poison, Predator, OB, and Bunjee just to name a few. I use standard and dart stroke for jumping. Standard for further jumps and dart for closer up. What I have found with this cue is better accuracy and the ability to draw and follow after a jump shot. I have even pulled off a few jump masse' shots that I never thought was possible. At first I thought the notch for the dart stroke was gimmicky and to close to the shaft, and for a table bridge it was. However an air bridge with a near vertical cue and using the notch I have been able to jump a full ball less then a chalk width away. This cue is a 5 star cue.
