Cuetec’s Cynergy Uni-Loc carbon composite cue shafts are constructed with multi-plies of resin-impregnated military grade unidirectional carbon fiber filaments. The diameter of each filament is 7 um(0.007 mm), or about one twelfth of a human hair. The orientation of these carbon fiber filaments is crucial to achieving optimal durability, strength, and performance. During the heat curing process each of these specifically oriented filaments works together to ensure there is zero net displacement. The result is a perfectly straight and ultra-strong shaft.

Designed and Developed with aid of five-time U.S. Open Champion, Shane Van Boening for world-class performance, Cuetec is proud to introduce the all-new Cuetec Cynergy 15K Carbon Composite Cue Shaft. The Cuetec Cynergy 15K has been created with an exclusive pattern of spun 15K carbon fiber tow, strengthened by a poly-foam; the Cynergy 15K utilizes a expanded straight-taper, excessive thin white sighting ferrule, and 12.5mm Tiger Sniper tip to constitute a shaft that is filled with carbon fiber low deflection performance and the feel and feedback of wood.

Multi-directional Carbon Fiber Filaments
Cuetec’s Cynergy 15K carbon composite shafts have been created with multi-plies of resin-impregnated military grade unidirectional carbon fiber filaments. The diameter of each filament is 7 um(0.007 mm), or about one twelfth of a human hair. The orientation of these carbon fiber filaments is crucial to achieving the maximum durability, strength, and performance. During the heat curing process each of these specifically oriented filaments works together to ensure there is zero net displacement. The result is a perfectly straight and ultra-strong shaft.

Polyurethane Foam Core
The center of each Cynergy carbon composite shaft is its ultra-high-density polyurethane foam core. This Cuetec proprietary poly-foam core ads stability to the shaft, allowing for prescribed flex and creating a more wood-like sound upon contact with increased feel and feedback.

Flyweight Front-End Construction
Keeping the weight down is crucial for a shaft to minimize cue-ball deflection. Less weight means less deflection. Benefitting from their ultra-strong carbon composite construction, each Cynergy 15K shaft features Cuetec’s flyweight front-end build. This construction allows the Cynergy poly-foam to stop five inches below the tip, creating a rigid cavity with less mass and therefore less deflection on contact.

SST (Super Slim Taper)
Developed to provide the the pool player the most comfortable playing experience possible, each Cuetec Cynergy 15K Carbon Fiber shaft boasts the all-new Super Slim Taper. Measuring 15.5 inches in length from the tip, each Cynergy shaft has virtually zero rise, allowing for a more level and precise stroke, regardless or the player’s stroke length.

Thin White Sighting Ferrule
The ferrule measures only .25 inches long, the light-weight, thin white sighting ferrule on each Cynergy shaft not only aids in aim contrast and depth perception, but it also provides a more familiar and stable platform for tip maintenance and replacement over the life of the shaft.

2.5mm Tiger® Sniper Tip
Selected for its high-performance and neutral hit attributes, each Cynergy shaft is paired with a Sniper tip. Naturally cured for more than a year, each Sniper tip is meticulously honed, utilizing a unique vacuum lamination process that insures the elimination of air between the tip’s ten layers.

Maintaining the Cuetec Cynergy shaft’s finish.
Cuetec Cynergy carbon composite shafts must never be sanded or modified. Using any abrasive on the surface of the shaft will damage the shaft’s finish and possibly weaken the shaft’s carbon fiber filaments and discharge potentially harmful materials that could be hazardous to your health. Any polishing, sanding or treatment of the surface of the shaft with abrasives or chemicals of any kind will void the shaft’s warranty.

Never use baby powder, hand chalk, talcum powder or other shaft treatments on a Cuetec Cynergy carbon fiber composite shaft.

To clean the surface of your Cuetec Cynergy carbon composite shaft, you will need just a few materials; Isopropyl Alcohol (75% or higher) and two (2) clean and debris-free soft cloth towels.

Step 1. Remove any dust and debris by wiping the shaft with a soft clean cloth.

Step 2. Apply a reasonable amount Isopropyl Alcohol (75% or higher) to a clean, soft cloth towel. Next, work the towel up and down the length of the shaft, while rotating your hand around its circumference. It is possible that dirt will be visible on the towel.
This is completely normal. Continue working the shaft with the same motion until all areas have been thoroughly wiped, then allow a few moments for the surface to dry.

Changing the tip on your Cuetec Cynergy Shaft.
Cuetec Cynergy carbon composite shafts feature a light-weight white sighting ferrule. This inclusion to the Cynergy shaft’s front-end construction allows for easier tip replacement over the life of the shaft. When changing the tip, it is important to clean and resurface the ferrule. The minimum height of the ferrule must be greater than 1mm to maintain the shaft’s warranty coverage.

* Always use a recognized and proven cuesmith. Never allow a cuesmith to sand or modify the shaft’s finish when installing a new tip.

Replacing the ferrule on your Cuetec Cynergy Shaft.
While unlikely, should the ferrule on the Cuetec Cynergy shaft ever need to be replaced, it must be done by an authorized Cuetec Cynergy repair center. This is required due to the complex nature of the bonding agents used and to ensure that no damage is done to the shaft’s carbon fiber filaments.

Cuetec Cynergy carbon composite shafts feature a limited-lifetime warranty against warpage.

Cuetec Cynergy carbon composite shafts are not engineered to tolerate considerable lateral pressure. They should never be flexed excessively, hit on other objects or treated with any abrasives, whether they are solid or liquid.

Shaft Diameter
Cuetec Cynergy carbon composite shaft diameters should never be modified. Any sanding, polishing or abrasive treatment could jeopardize the ultra-thin layers of carbon fiber filament and will immediately void the Cynergy shaft’s warranty.

"Uni-Loc | Cuetec Cynergy Carbon Fiber Shaft"

Amazing Shaft

This was my first carbon fiber shaft and Im pleased to say that the hype around it is real. It truly is an amazing Shaft and does not have that hollow thunk sound that a lot of low deflection cues has. I changed out the tip to a Tiger Onyx instead of the stock Sniper tip and this has helped the feel of the cue so much.

Overall, I'd recommend this shaft to anyone looking for an upgrade in quality and feel.

Outstanding Product

I've been playing with this shaft for about 7 months now, and I love it. I had originally wanted to buy a Revo shaft, but after reading numerous reviews and forums, I decided to give the Cynergy shaft a try (that and there weren't any 12.4 Revo's in stock for a Uni-Loc joint). So far, I have no regrets. I had the default tip replaced with a Victory Soft tip, as that's what I'm more used to playing with, and man does this thing perform! I paired this shaft with my Predator 8K, and the hit feedback is almost as good as my 314-3 shaft, but after a couple minutes of shooting I don't even notice the difference. As far as deflection goes and from what I can tell, it has less deflection than the 314, but a little more than the Revo. It took a little getting used to, but after a couple hours I had my game about 95% dialed in with it.

If you're looking for a CF shaft, but you're uncertain about spending the extra money on some of the other CF shafts out there, I'd definitely recommend the Cynergy.

Excellent shaft

Practiced with this new Cuetec Cynergy shaft this past weekend for 5 hrs. Couldn't believe what a difference it is from my wooden shaft. The Cuetec is much stiffer and more low-deflection. Accuracy of shots were much improved. The sniper tip is softer than I thought but liked it. It provided excellent draws/follows and english. Also, it was a pleasure buying from Seybert's. Excellent customer service, especially Rick.

Exceeded Expectations

- Build Quality is close to perfect. Under very close scrutiny, no surface blemishes or defects can be seen.
- CF looks very high quality with a very fine pattern. The pattern has perfect alignment and the seam is straight
- The shaft is perfectly straight having been checked at many points from tip to ferrule
- The hit feels natural and sounds like a normal shaft
- The Sniper tip goes very well with the shaft
- The Uni-Loc joint fits perfectly on Predator butts (perhaps slightly tight but that's better than loose)
- Very long 12.5mm pro taper
- The white ferrule aids aiming
- There is nothing extreme about the Cynergy. If you already have good quality LD shaft, you should be able to switch to the Cynergy with no major adjustments
- Quality for the price is the best in the market
