Phenolic tip with a stiff taper is the key. Fat Daddy's unique shaft design leaves more mass thoughout the shaft allowing for less compression (flexing) at the point of tip-to-cue ball contact. That means the cue ball leaves the tip much quicker after the point of impact. For jump shots, the quick release butt/forearm allows for effortless over and under stroking to get the ball in the air with ease.
