Like it but suspect...
Wanted to give this tip a try because of the 5 layer design, it sounded like a good idea. First one I had played very good. The tip is more towards the Hard side of the scale but I did not have any problems with miscues, and it required very little maintenance. The second one I had put on, a layer eventually popped off one night when I was playing. Normally not a big deal, it happens, but with this design of tip, much like Ron Burgundy - it is kind of a big deal. With only having 5 layers in the tip it means each layer is much bigger than the normal layered tip. So when one of them pops or peels off it is taking a big chunk of the tip off and will leave a crater in the top of your cue. It can be fixed on the fly but requires a good amount of effort. I liked the way it played but I think I will stick with the 11 - 12 layer tips.
