Silver Cup
I bought Silver Cup an alternative to Master. I think it does the same job as master but I think silver cup tends to be "messier" I end up with more on my hands and cue shaft then i did with master so I give it a 3.

Like the color, but not the size ...
I started using Silver Cup chalk when I first encountered laminated tips and wanted to see whether Master or Silver Cup gave me better control and fewer miscues (I have a bad habit of playing two or three racks of without chalking up ... until I miscue, of course!)
I also discovered that the silver color doesn't stain your shaft or ferrule as much as the darker colors.
However, I got tired of having to constantly pick the cube up from the floor after it fell out of my chalk holders because it is slightly smaller than Master cubes. I don't think the cost savings to the manufacturer are worth this negative attribute to their otherwise nice product.
