Better than Master, No!
First of all, I would like tostate that silver cup chalk is good chalk and that there is nothing wrong with it. The fact is that it isn't as good as Master chalk. If for any reason you have the choice between the two, choose Master.
With that said, the only reason I use Silver Cup chalk is because I use the burgandy color Simonis felt on my table. Master does not have the option of burgandy. That is a major plus and selling point for Silver Cup chalk because of all the different colors you have to choose from.
I do recommend this chalk, but I much more approve of Master.
