P2/P3 Z Gen 2 shaft
This shaft has set my personal standard for a performance shaft on a cue. Tip brands aside, the conical taper with an 11.75 mm tip allows for maximum spin on the cue ball, and cue ball deflection is pretty much non existent. I first started with a 314 gen. 2, but after progressing in skill and playing experience, this shaft out performs the 314 by a mile! The uniloc joint makes screwing and un-screwing a quick and convenient way to put together and take down the cue, and It's nice that there are joint options on the Z shaft for compatibility with other brand or custom cue makers butts. The simple but effective 10 piece pie splice-up and down the length of the shaft, makes it's play impeccable and unmatched to other shaft construction designs. I use the Z shaft with my P3 white as my go to every day shooter when I play on a daily basis. If there was the option, I'd give the Z gen. 2 shaft a 6th star!

The best there is
This shaft is best that I have with my P3. Personally I like the Z2 better than others such as OB2... no vibration notice, have a great sweet spot. I probably gonna buy another one of this for my brother.

Great Shaft
I have been using Predator cues for the about three years now. I started with the original 314 shaft and have been very pleased with the performance. I do feel Predator’s design is superior over standard shafts. Not saying it’s the one and only, but many of the top players in the world are using Predators shafts. So, after fighting it, I just had to try the Z2 shaft. Being the pool junkie I am, I bought one here on this WEB site, great price. Been using it for about six weeks now and starting to get use to it now. Still need more time with it, but it’s looking pretty good that I have found a new playing shaft. I just changed the tip to ones I have been using for the last couple of years and I like my tip better than the one that came on the shaft. Being that it is a much thinner shaft it takes some time to get use to. But you will definitely feel there difference. If it a good difference will depends on your stoke. It does demand a cleaner stroke. I don’t recommend this for anyone just starting out, but for the more seasoned players, you should evaluate it. Worst case if you don’t like it, you sell it for about the same money you spent. Hope this helps.

Z-2, it's not for everyone
I first used this shaft on a meucci cue. Then I bought a pred. sneaky pete and aquired the z-2 shaft. I was amazed. better stroking, better cue ball control, and more balls per inning at the table. in a nutshell, WOW.
