Shaft arrived
The shaft arrived from UPS today. You did a very good job of hitting my specs, thanks.
I came through in fine shape. The grain was raised a little, I presume from all the humidity while traveling. A little 1000 grit sandpaper and a piece of burnishing leather took care of that.
Plays great. A little stiffer than the old 314 I had, but that’s good.

Preditor 314 shaft
I bought the 314 shaft and it fit perfectly on my 1970's Joss cue. What a difference it has made on my game! Follow, stop, english with significantly less deflection and squirt then I was getting with my "stock" maple shaft. I've gone to a very hard tip and get no noticable vibrations like I did with my "stock" shaft. What a wonderfull upgrade to my old Joss. I have other team mates who have also upgraded just recently and they are thrilled with the results! Highly recommend the 314 shaft to anyone wanting to get to the next level of play.
