My 2010 tax returns bought me this gorgeous work of art from J. Pechauer. As soon as I un-screwed and then re-screwed the beautiful inlayed shaft, I felt a vibration throughout the whole cue, as I had been screwing it together at a very slight off degree angle....proof that his work on the joint took extreme precision machining to accomplish. I took the weight bolt out with relative ease, and took the over all weight of the cue, down to 16.9 oz...just the way I like em! The first initial hit I took with it felt more than solid, and had the sound to boot. His choice of using bocote wood and pearl in the points, provide a nice contrast to the natural and stained birdseye maple of the butt. J. Pechauer's inlay craftsmanship is simply flawless, and every inlay from the shaft down to the butt of the cue was perfectly in line, when screwed together. Although it only has 3 points around the diameter of the butt and shaft, the thickness of each dual point inlay makes it look complete and absolutely stunning. I am proud to be the only owner of a crown jewel cue from J Pechauer where I reside, and the cue has won me as many games as it has gotten me compliments in its uniqueness and good looks!
