Onyx LTD Pool Cue Tip
Onyx - LTD® laminated cue tips are made with the same bore hides as our Sniper tips. Each of the finest layers are then collected and aged with Tigers own secret process, turning each layer to black without using a black color dye. It is a very slow and time consuming process, however the end result is unbelievable to say the least. During this process, we are able to soften the layers to medium hardness, while making the leather firmer. It makes the tip easy to maintain and helps to cut better during repairs. Onyx - LTD® is the most consistent by far of any tips made. It will only be produced in limited numbers per year, since part of the natural process it goes thru, does take a long time. For those who want to have the best, Onyx- LTD® is your choice, because its pure and its perfect. 14mm tip must be cut down to fit your shafts diameter.

Better than kamui black
When I first tried this tip on my friends cue I couldn't believe how much power I have in my arms. He's a cuemaker and my first impression was woow! you made such a great cue, but No - he told me. This cuestick is just like all other cues you tried except it have a brand new in the world tip on it, called onyx. I said to myself OMG what name is that, but later I found out that it's THE tiger onyx and it all explains by itself. I already have Icebreaker from Tiger on my BK2 and I'm gonna put this tip on my Predator Blak 2. Oh boy I'm in love.
So you won't be wrong with this tip. It's perfect, not to hard not to soft (only thing that's soft while using this tip is your arm)

Beautiful Tip
I purchased my cue with a tip upgrade to the ONYX tip, and I haven't a single complaint about the product. The ONYX has a perfect density, not too hard, not too soft, but right there where you want it. It holds its shape well and requires less maintenance than your average tip. This product provides excellent control over your cue ball allowing the player to fine-tune each shot with unbelievable accuracy. On top of its 5 star performance, the ONYX also provides an attractive look for your cue. It's soft, black texture creates a very solid and sturdy appearance at the end of your cue. I cannot say that I have used every tip on the market but, so far, the ONYX is the best tip I have ever used.

Simply the best !
If you like a low maintenance medium-hard tip, you will not be dissapointed, The best layered tip by far IMO and i tried a lot (including the KAMUI and MOORI`s )....I use a dime shape and get perfect cue ball control and no miscues. from now on, this is going to be my tip of choice.
