Superb, like it better than Z2!
I'm not a big fan of buying cues and shafts online unless i am able to test them out first, unfortunately being in China i don't have that luxury since there are not many good shops here. Originally i played with a Predator Z2, i honestly liked it for a good few days but i think i was partially fascinated with all the fancy spins and english as it was my first LD Shaft. However it didn't improve my play for me (very subjective..since many pros love it to bits), i felt it was too light and "hollow", and that i had to put in extra effort in my play when using this shaft. I soon was able to sell it away since most Predator stuff are pretty sought after.

I've always been fascinated by OB shaft's engineering and found it fascinating. Since i wasn't able to try any, i wasn't sure which shaft to go for. I decided to go for the OB 2 since it's the newer model and in my small world, newer is always better...
I contacted Royce Brunnel from OB Cues and told him the problem i had with my earlier predator shaft and described my play. He recommended i got this Classic Pro as opposed to the OB2. I listened and got the Classic Pro.

Since i have taken delivery, my stock Pechauer shaft has not seen any light...don't get my wrong, the stock original shaft was a good solid maple shaft, great play as well. But somehow i felt confident playing with the OB. LD abilities aside, this shaft plays firm and solid, the weight of the shaft is also very reassuring for me as thats how i like my shaft.

I've ordered a few custom cues and i'm sure i'll be having them with this shaft.

OB Classic Pro
There are 4 playing shafts from OB: OB-1 & OB-2, Classic & Classic Pro. You really should check out their website and read about the construction and made in America quality (http://www.obcues.com/construction.html)

I bought the OB-2 and had some difficulty adjusting to the hit due to the foam-filled core. So I got the Classic Pro... WOW! This is the hit/feel I was looking for.
Pros:
• Firm hit - with its solid core, the OB Classic Pro hits like the cue you're accustomed to, with the added benefits of low-deflection and OB's unique construction.
• Great action - the OB-1/2 shafts are probably a little better at low-deflection, but that comes at the sacrifice of the easy english action that I'm accustomed to. The OB Classic Pro gives the best compromise of both low-deflection and action and hit.
Cons:
• Less low-deflection - This could be my own perception, but I "feel" that the low-deflection properties of the OB-2 are better than the Classic Pro. Admittedly, it might just be the difference with the hit/feel that makes me say this.

Regardless, between the OB-2 and the OB Classic Pro, I have no desire to own or try any other shafts. I'm completely sold on their technology, construction and performance.
