Solid hit with neat classic looks
Got this not too long ago to go with my OB Classic uni-lock shaft. I must say that for the price, this thing produces a nice solid hit (even with the stock shaft), it plays well, and looks awesome! For the workmanship and inlays, the quality of the Lucasis has def improved in recent times - everything seems well cut to fit, and the ring work etc is nice and flush on this cue. Its by no means as good as a Schon or any custom make, but for the buck its probably the best quality out there right now.

I would also recommend an 18.5oz for the best balance as this seems to really hit the sweetspot with the Lucasi Customs.

Good workmanship
I bought this cue months ago, have a great number of hours with it in my hands, so I have a few thoughts.
This is the 19 oz weight.
The quality is very good. Clean finish work and I can't say that I had ever seen a linen wrap like this, but I like it. The ebony is pretty fair and the rengas wood is nice, though not spectacular. Overall, it's a very striking cue. Simple but eye-catching.

As background, I learned my stance and grip from Willie Mosconi's book, "On Pocket Billiards" 50 years ago.
Yours may differ.

When I pick up my Meucci Original, also 19 oz., the balance point is right where the wrap meets the barrel.
This places my shooting hand about 4-5 inches back on the wrap.
Unconscious stroke.

The Lucasi is slightly tip heavy in comparison.
It is not extreme, just there.
The balance point is about 3 inches forward of the wrap so that my grip point ends up almost where the thread meet the barrel. Doing so gives me nice control on shorter shots, and killer draw, but not so good on long shots. It is not unconscious yet, but it is growing on me. The short control is VERY good.
I think most will find this balance to their liking. I probably wouldn't notice except for a 50 year Mosconi habit and a Meucci Original. A few of my knowledgeable friends like it a lot.
A very nice cue.
