I bought this cue @eBay in 2008 when Seybert's didn't have them for sale. It's a great value for money. Cue breaks the racks perfectly. I never use this cue for jumping as my Lucasi JC doe the job much better (IMHO). Unfortunately the shaft cracked near joint point after 6 months of use. It seems to be an isolated issue as my friend has no problem with his Kaiser so far.
Anyway, having this kind of experience, I doubt I'll buy Kaiser cues in future.

I bought one of these new off of everyone's favorite auction website a few years ago for $60 (inflation has obviously added a little bit to the price) and it's an exceptional value. I'd say it breaks as hard as just about any j/b under $300, and is a snap to jump with. The wood screw is a super secure joint and I think it adds to the cue's power. My only complain is that the jump joint can come loose if you're not paying attention, but I've made a habit of tightening it a bit before breaking. It's a minor annoyance and not something that would detract me from buying the cue again if I had it to do over.
