About Carolina Custom Cues

Carolina Custom Cues was founded by a team of people passionate about billiards and making a difference in the sport. Carolina Custom Cues team includes experienced craftsmen, pool players and business professionals.

Traditions in American Design and Quality

Our underlying philosophy is to emulate the very highest standards and practices of the greatest American cue-makers. Carolina Custom Cues specialize in spliced-butt designs – somewhat a lost art except for a very few custom cue-makers. Carolina Custom Cues also produce modern inlaid or floating-point cue designs.

Carolina Custom Cues have invested in state-of-the-art computer controlled equipment and UV finishing to enable repeatable and precise components, intricate decorative inlays and durable finishes. In the fall of 2005, they moved into their new facility in Denver NC, just north of Charlotte.

Players as well as Cue Makers

The Carolina Custom Cues team understands the art and science of cue-making from the player's perspective. Their cue-makers are also pool players. Carolina Custom Cues knows there is no substitute for time spent at the table. They also know that a poor-playing cue can take us 'off our game', seriously jeopardizing performance. There is no doubt that a well-playing cue will improve results.

Excellence through teamwork

Our vision is to have the best "performance to price" ratio in the industry; that is, more performance for less price. We are committed to putting quality within reach of most players.

We believe we achieve excellence by living our core values:

  • Listening to, involving and serving our Customers
  • Embracing change to continually improve our products
  • Working as one team – with suppliers, distributors and each other
  • Acting ethically and honestly
  • Being a great place to work, recognizing effort and success
  • Being personally accountable for decisions, actions and results

We have reached out to partner with leading cue-designers, craftsmen and production experts. We can leverage their knowledge and capabilities to make us even better. KF3 cue
I bought KF3 cue from seyberts in 2008. I wanted a custom cue that play better than it looks and cost. I didn't wanted the opposite. Costly cue that can't perform.
At first I decided to order KF1 but there wasn't any with the weight of 18.5 oz so I bought KF3.
With KF3 I got exactly what I wanted. After a year I bought the predator 314 shaft with which this cue play even better.
KF3 with it's cocobolo-maple combination looks great. It is also a great cue if you like feel of wood to wood joint. The cue isn't perfectly straight with predator shaft as I ordered extra predator shaft later so it is better to order both at the same time.
Last year I bought Predator IKON 7 to replace this cue. After two months playing with it I went back to my KF3.
