ELK MASTER CUE TIPS
I HAVE ALMOST TRIED ALL BRANDS OF TIPS, SUPER SOFT, MEDIUM, HARD, ETC., OF THE CHEAPEST TO THE MOST EXPENSIVE. ALL IN ALL, I KEEP GOING BACK TO THE ELK MASTER TIPS. IT IS ONE OF THE CHEAPEST BUT FOR ME, IT IS STILL ONE OF THE BEST. I FIND THE TIP TO HAVE THE BEST GRIP ON THE CUE BALL, WITH A FEEL OF A SOFT SHOT, AND ONE OF THE BEST FOR MASSE. OVERALL, I HAVE MORE CONTROL WHEN USING ENGLISH ON MY SHOTS. I CAN CONTROL THE SOFT TIP BY COMPRESSING IT ACCORDING TO MY TASTE, AND CAN MAKE IT A MEDIUM, MEDIUM HARD, HARD OR SUPER HARD TIP. MOREOVER, MOST OF THE POOL PLAYERS I KNOW USES THE ELK MASTER TIPS. I RATE THIS TIP AS 4 OUT OF 5 STARS. I HAVEN'T FOUND A TIP THAT I CAN SAY WITH A RATING OF 5 STARS. ****

Plays as good as any
It's a soft tip with a consistant hit and the price doesn't break the bank.

Try This With Your Elkmasters
I used these tips for years playing snooker, but now I'm playing pool I just couldn't get on with them I wasn't sure if it's something to do with changing production methods or just the change to Pool.

Having said that I have now got some Milk Duds made from these and they are really awesome. I have tried most out there on the market and nothing even comes close to these and they are cheap, cheap, cheap!!

I have tried elkmaster on two or three different cues. I used one for a carom cue that I have to play 3 cushion, and it worked perfectly well. I still have it on.

But after setting two more on different pool shafts, I could not get the same result. They were moving like an accordion. I tried hitting some bals hard to make it become stiff, but did not succeed. In one of the shafts it looked pretty good, but when I was later using a scuffer to shape it up, it starts to unthread like an old sweater, and it becomes accordion again. So I can not say that these tips are good, but they are cheap, and maybe if you can press them or set them properly they will work good.
