Description

Tip: Cuetec's exclusive Explorer eleven layer blue pig skin tip has been developed to hold chalk better, providing the ultimate cue ball control and consistency. The Explorer tip has been tested and approved by some of the World's top players.
Ferrule: Cuetec's ACF aircushion ferrule (patent pending) is made of the highest ABS material available. The ferrule's cushioning effect provides the optimum cue ball/cue tip contact time resulting in less vibration and deflection while maximizing cue ball control and accuracy without sacrificing energy.

Shaft: Cuetec's (patent pending) R360 15-1/2" pro tapered 12.75mm shaft construction and performance features:
1. The R360 is constructed with a tubular composite core surrounded by four computer cut "A Plus" grade Canadian maple sections to ensure an exact fit.
2. The R360 construction provides maximum radial consistence ensuring the most accurate cue ball response and control.
3. The composite core inside the shaft controls deflection, squirt, distortion and prevents warpage.
4. The 15-1/2" Pro Taper provides a long comfortable stroke.

Lackluster
This cue shaft leaves a lot to be desired. Although Cuetec has made strides in improving their shafts, it is still not on par with the other fine shaft makers out there. If you are buying a specialty low deflection shaft or anything of the sort you are much better off going with a Predator, OB, or even McDermott has a good price point low deflection shaft. They have made improvements with their new tip, which feels nice, and seems to give you better control than most standard tips, but the composite core on these shafts is really where they go wrong. They are supposed to proved you with a stiffer shaft that controls deflection and squirt, but it ends up feeling kind of pingy and vibrates a lot. I do like the taper they have gone with on this one being a 12.75mm shaft, but they still have some work to do. It's not a BAD shaft, but as I said before if you are in the market for a shaft you are better off with the fore mentioned brands.
