That would be very interesting if Predator made chalk. Right now I use Balabushka chalk and it is amazing stuff.

I own one chalk w/ the Predator logo n US flag on the label. A friend gave one to me. I have the tan color and coincidentally im using a Master tan chalk, compared it and its the SAME! Same texture same color and feel. Also Predator dont make them. I believe its by Master chalk but then someone, somewhere in Asia took the Master label and put the Predator sticker on them. They sell it for 50 pesos w/c is 1$. If u like the chalk just buy Master tan color chalk and plus its not nice to support illegal business anyway.

I actually get the Balabushka chalk off of Ebay. The chalk is very fine and goes on your cue tip very well. I had always thought that chalk was chalk, but I can actually feel a difference with this chalk. The only bad thing I have found about the chalk is that the cube wears down very quickly. However, this does make sense as the chalk is very fine.

My personal and unprofessional opinion is that MASTER CHALK should only be used since it seems to be the "industry standard' - widely used. And it's what's furnished on tour.

Depends on the tour, some 9-ball tourneys use Silver Cup Chalk.

Im currently using silver cup , not as rough as triangle but not as claggy as master . Tried balabushka but I can only get blue and it marks the cue ball quite severely and is hard to clean off , a pity coz it feels nice to hit with .

If anyone can provide a sample of "Predator chalk" it would be greatly appreciated.

sorry, but could you explain claggy?

I have both silver cup (burgundy color) and master (red) and I don't really know that I can tell a difference. My talisman tip seems to hold all chalk so well that I don't chalk up but maybe once a rack. but I am always on the lookout for the "best" so that's why I've tried them both and I have been interested in the balabushka because it has gotten such good reviews. I don't know... does the statement "chalk is chalk" hold true? what do you guys find as the true differences of the chalk you use and why, and what type of tip do you use it on?
