Thread: My new Schon

  1. #1

    Default My new Schon

    Just got it today
In my opinion this is the best looking Schon that was made in a loooooong time.... since the R12 which is my favorite Schon ever made.
Just check out the crazy BEM on that forearm

I also upgraded the shaft to a matching Predator 314² shaft

Thanks Seybert's for a wonderful cue and as always a great service!

    Enjoy the pics

    Schon LTD1405

    Thanks!

I had a nice 5.5 hours session with it and it plays and feel really nice.

What do you think about that LTD 1404? I don't have any Schon's, but the 1404 is tempting me to scrap up some cash.

Personally, I don't like Turquoise in pool cues so it's not my cup of tea...
All Schon cues play and feel about the same and I'm sure that this one is no exception to that rule. If you like the design then go for it, when it comes to playability it is top notch!

Skor, with a collection like yours I would imagine youve played with a Pechauer. How does the hit of a Schon compare in your opinion? Just curious.

I got to play with a few Pechauer cues a while back. I really like the hit and feel of them. You can't go wrong with Schon and Pechauer, if I was looking for a new cue and the choice would have come down to these two brands then I would pick up the one with the nicer design as when it comes to all that really matters, both provide the goods.

Now that you've mentioned my collection, I need to get a Pechauer for it.... but it'll have to wait for now

By the way, a couple of years ago I got a Pechauer cue from Seybert's with a modified joint to uni-loc and 314-2 shaft for Zion Zvi who is in the USA right now and doing pretty well on the pro scene and he really like it and still plays with it even after he got from a friend a beautiful Schon Unique cue.

Why would he want the uni-loc joint? For compatibility with previous cues? I like the Pechauer joint better

He had extra 314 shafts from an older Predator cue that he wanted to keep.
