Default Z Shaft for my Novas

I am thinking about giving a Z Shaft a try. Can Seybert's cuesmith duplicate the joint on a Nova shaft. The joint collar and insert is all one piece with a silver trim ring. This link will show what I mean. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

I would like the shaft 29.5" with a Moori medium tip. I will send in the butt so the shaft can be properly mated to the butt. Price?

Sorry about the e-bay link. I just cannot figure out how to insert a picture into a post.

Na that cue is plain. Especialy compared to this Nova with a buy it now of $30,000.00.

I don't feel so bad posting an e-bay link to this cue because I don't think this is the market that Seybert's deals in.

I have three of his cues, one plain, one four pointer and one rather intricate eight point cue. All three are production cues. Nubs was making Novas in small numbers and only for a few years. He is now retired.

I think the Nova is a supurb playing cue. A Nova will come up occasionaly on ebay and the basic cue without a lot of detail can be gotten for a fair price. The more intricate ones will usually go for a premium over what you will find similar Jacobys and Schons selling for.

If I was gonna spend this kind of money, then I'd go for the Rambo, Mosconi, Gleason cue.
