Default Neils : Z shaft & Jump shot

With the Z shaft being stiffer than the regular 314 shaft, is it possible to make a jumpshot with the Z shaft ? With the regular 314 shaft my friends and I cant make a jump shot with it but could execute a jumpshot with NON predator shafts (viking, Schon.....)

You need a cue with a high degree of deflection to jump a ball well, so no, our Z-shaft would not be a good shaft to jump with.

I didn't say it was impossible, it is just harder to jump balls with a shaft that creates a low amount of deflection.

it is harder...i've tried jumping with my 314 shaft and to no avail.....i've had to use a house stick.

it's easier to jump with the bk cue because of the hard tip
the tip is the secret to a good jump shot.
like Neil my advice to you is to get a jump cue, you can get a real cheap one and just put on it a very hard tip
