M35A Wood to Wood Joint / Quick Release Joint ??

Hi, I interest on the model M35A.
I have question to joint type.
I saw the page say all M.D. cues used the standard joint,
(Q-release joint), but i see the cue information on http://www.mcdermottcue.com/PAGES/McDCues/2003%20Series/M35A.htm
this cue is used wood2wood joint, what is wrong there?
Does there have any the joint picture of M35A ?
Because i realy like the feeling of W2W joint.

Most of the McDermott cues use the quick release, but not all. They do vary in joints from the 10 thread WTW to the quick release. If you notice on our site that the pin is the 10 thread. thanks
