I have a 2k3 and it has small scratches running lengthwise all around the butt side of the joint. I don't know how they got there, I try to be conscious(sp?) of not dragging the joint on the rails but who knows. Anyway, I didn't know if the joint was cleared over in the finishing process or if i could maybe use a chrome polish or something similiar. Any help would be appreciated. Tha

I have not seen a cue yet that has finish over the stainless joint.
Do you break with your cue?

No, I don't break with it. I didn't know if they cleared them or not. Do you think something like mothers chrome polish or a similiar polish might work. Also my original tip is getting pretty worn, mushrooming alot, Is it okay to let my local repair man re-tip it. I was thinking of putting a moori medium on it.Thanks neil.

Any type of metal polish should work well. I would also like to find out what is causing the marks.
Any decent repair person should be able to replace a tip on our shaft, just remind them that our ferrule has a lower melting point than standard ferrules.
