i got a black one, its built great... its made to last and that doesnt exactly mean efficiently built to last. The openings are all belt buckle and take a bit more time to open. i can fit my playing stick, break stick, and jump stick in the bag. It looks like it can last well over 25 years without a problem.

I haven't seen one in person, but the images and construction pages that Seybert's has look great. It looks like a rock-solid case. The buckles are a particularly nice touch.

well thanks sins, your comment helps a bit. neways i still got time to decide on my purchase.
that's exactly what i'm thinking, i want a case that is going to be the last one i need to buy, looks classy (which it does apparently based on the pics; I just don't like the cowboy look of the instroke :) )

I just emailed the guy from talisman (Tony I think his name is) to ask him the very same thing. If he replies I will post his answer.

As far as I know, the only configuration for the case is the 2X4. He did make a new style of case, the Talisman Tribal. It looks like a nice case and has no buckles. I still prefer the cowboy look though. I am currently saving for one and will hopefully be able to afford it in a few months...

I recently got a Talisman case. I was torn between the Instroke Buffalo and the Talisman. I was somewhat concerned with the quality of the Talisman, having never seen one in person. I needn't have worried. The Talisman is a quality case. For me the buckles were the reason for going with the Talisman. I was willing to forgo the convenience of the clasp in favor of the durability of straps and buckles. At times I can be a klutz and I could just see myself dropping the case and breaking the clasp. Although it wasn't a factor in my purchase the Talisman is quite a bit lighter than the Instroke.

My Talisman just arrived yesterday and it is beautiful. I ordered the black/green case. The shipping was through one of the best and fastest shipping companies around (Purolator). Unfortunately, I was missing a towel, golf shirt and shoulder strap. I e-mailed Tony (the owner of Talisman) about the problem and within a few hours he had replied and the problem had been fixed. I should be receiving my missing stuff this week. So for any and all who are thinking about buying this case, you can't go wrong.

No Customs charge, which makes this case even sweeter. (If you can't already tell, I love companies and sales people tht give outstanding customer service. Crappy customer service is close to my #1 pet peev)

I just got one of talsmans "tribal" 4x2 black cases and its just awsome quality. I also got free talsmain tips of my choise a talisman golf shit to were on leauge nights and a talisman hand towel. Its hard to descibe the quality and craftsmanship that go in to these cases they are flawless in construction and built to last a lifetime. Each case is indivdually numbered hand built with a quality certificate that shows the date the case was made and signatures of the builders. The main thing I like about it is how the top opens and seals when not in use. Very eazy acess to the cues and are tightly fitted so no more rattling around. As an owner I would buy another one if I had to but I highly dought it. I was using a gusipee and its like compareing a escort to a high end sports car. You cant go wrong with any taliman products. Tony also guarranties that you will be happy with your purchse or your money back no questions.
It is an expensive investment but how much is your cue worth to you??
A $1200 stick is worthless without the protection to get what you paid for it over time. :D

For all of those Canadians that are wondering, I just recieved a bill in the mail from a brokerage company that imported my case. The total damage was $7.17 CAD. This amount is actually only for the brokerage firm to handle the importation of my case.
