Hi all

1) Want to know where are these cases made? is it Taiwan?

2) Any way to verified its made by Instroke and not some copy cat out there?

3) How abt the textrue quality difference between a vinyl case and a leather case? How to differentiate? any things to look out for?

thks for any feedback and comments.

1. The cases are made in our factory in Taiwan. Our Taiwanese factory has been making high quality cases for over 30 years. In order to produce the Predator case we had to improve our techniques and quality control beyond the already high standards we had had even before Predator chose us. The Taiwanese Instroke factory produces the very best tube cases on the planet right now. There is no other maker who comes close whether they are a small custom shop or a larger factory. We will gladly disassemle our cases against any other case out there. Instroke's motto is; it is not where the case is made but that it is made by Instroke.

2. Only by the reputation of Instroke, Predator and Seyberts. The early cases had the Instroke logo on them on the inside of the bottom pocket. Future cases may have a small tag inside which will read "made by Instroke". There are copycats out there. All of the cases we make for Predator have the Predator logo in gold embroidered above the top pocket. Seybert's is Instroke's and Predator's largest dealer and only sells genuine Predator/Instroke cases.

3. The texture is very similar on the leather and vinyl models. This was done intentionally to allow the customer to choose a great case based on their budget rather than the feel of the material. We use furniture grade vinyl and top grain leather. Either material is tough and durable. The leather is slightly softer than the vinyl. Either choice is good.

Folks, the Predator case represents the pinnacle of my design work to date. The sleek look of the case comes from a lot of design work to blend the interior core and the exterior skin together. A lot of competitors and copiers are not able to do what we do to combine protection and style. Predator's cue case needs have pushed Instroke case to a new level that beat out three other competitiors when all the samples were literally torn apart and abused.

I hope this helps in your decision.

Thank you,

Thanks John for the reply. that's very reassuring.

I know abt Seybert good reputation etc. also, i am not disputing Instroke good quality work whether made in Taiwan, Germany etc. but there are many other dealers out there that also sell Predator instroke cases besides seyberts. I am buying from one of these local proshop and he is getting it from his supplier from Taiwan. Just want to be sure i am getting the real thing. So, i guess i will have to look out for the logo in the bottom pocket? So if there is no logo, then can i assume its not a genuine instroke predator?

All of the Predator Cases that are made by instroke for Predator must be purchased through Predator Cues out of Jackson Florida. Don't know how your local pro shop is gonna get one from Tiawan.

If we do ever come out with a bigger case, it will probably be a 3 butt 7 shaft case.

J&J Taiwan buys Predator shafts and cases from Predator and sells them to their Asian dealers. So it is possible to get a Predator case from a Taiwanese supplier.

Hi,

I like the Instroke Predator Case, but I was wondering does Instroke make its own version of the Predator case (same look, features, etc) but without the big yellow Predator logo on it?

Thanks

The Predator line is based on my old Nature Line. I am designing a new line similar to that for possible release later this year. The case will be different from the Predator cases because that particular design is reserved for them.

One thing that I have done which looks pretty good is to use a Sharpie and color the Predator logo black. The black on black looks pretty sporty and you will get the simple elegance of the design and the Instroke protection without the splash of gold.
