View Full Version : bunjee jump cue shaft
Hi there
Would like to know how could determine that the bunjee cue that i just bought is genuine instroke cue.
I noticed that most of the real bunjee shafts are dark in colour. mine is right clean and white maple shaft.
Are there ways to determine if its the real thing and not some cheap taiwanese copy?
thks
I have never seen any imitations of the bunjee jump cues. The shafts are white in color. I don't see any reason that they would be ripped off as the cues are only $79.00 each in the first place.

Just do a search for "jump cue" on e-bay and you will find that there are a lot of imitations out there. Do the work the same? I have a bungee as well as one of the imitators. I cannot tell any difference in the performance. The quality of the finish on both cues leaves something to be desired but what the heck, aesthetics be damned. They do the job with consistencey and litttle effort.
there are imitation out there....esp the taiwan made jumps...they look alike like the bunjees...except maybe the tips....bunjee has its genuine super hard tips...the taiwanese made one has some cheapo tips on them.

There are different weights on the bunjee jump cues right ? What is lightest weight for the bunjee jump cue ?

These cues (jump cues in general) don't have weight bolts for added weight like most regular cues. What weight there is to the cue is what it is, no adjustments. It doesn't make sense to add weight when extra weight will decrease a cues ability to get the cue ball airborn. Within a manufactures line of jumps cues the only variations in weight you will find will be insignificant and due to the slight variations in the density of the woods.
