View Full Version : Which cue case......
allows you to put the butt end of the cue in first. This way the cue can be put aside for a bit without breaking it down or just leaning it against a wall. Which brands allow this? thanks.
you can do that with an instroke, but it is not very stable.
i usually hang onto my cue or break it down if i have a long wait, less chance of damage.

Guiseppe cases allow this and I used to do that with mine until I saw someone get their cue snapped in two when their case got knocked over. Best advice is to put it away if you aren't going to shoot for a while.

I used to put my cue in the 4-cue rack with my teammates, until I noticed that when they get irritated with a bad shot or a loss, they put their cues in less than gently. Because I have a Uni-loc joint, I take my cue apart between games and slide it in the case. Since it only takes a couple of seconds to put it together, it's no big deal.
thats the big advantage of uniloc, and if you want to you can easily change shafts in the middle of a game.
i played against a guy who changed shafts for masse shots, worked well.
