Phil Cappelle's books are really good. 99 Critical Shots in Pool by Ray Martin is good. Jeanette Lee's book is a fairly decent read too.

Does an autographed pin-up of Jeanette come with her book? If so, I'm buying today! 8)

by Ray Martin is a great book to compliment the Byrne's book. I've read both, and I like them both. I would suggest reading both ( and then more) and try all things.
The 99 shots books, definitely showed me some different ways of looking at things. If I had to pick one book, that would be it for me. But, I haven't read them all yet.
I have just read "answers to a poolplayer's prayers" by richard kranicki.
this has been a revalation in terms of aiming and shooting.
it is a completly new slant on a difficult subject and while expensive is worth the price.
has everyone seen all the books that are now available from seyberts.
i am very glad this has happened.

I am a fan of the monk books, I think that they have some really good stuff in them if you can get past the zen.
