View Full Version : Pechauer cue ID...

Howdy!

I'm a neophyte when it comes to cues, but I found myself buying a Pechauer from a "hook up" at a very reasonable price. I don't think I was taken, but I would like to know which one I have. It's made of plain deep colored maple, a linen wrap, "ivory" joint and small gem-like (simple) inlays near the butt. It bears the JP on the butt as well (if that means anything). I bought it about 2/2 and a half years ago. If anyone's an cue-savant and would like to help me ID my cue, I can send a picture. If you could help me, my email is war_pig2@hotmail.com.

Grazie!

Hi war pig. Did you ever get a response to this? I can't help you myself, but I am also curious about ID'ing my stick. It's an older stick (plastic joint, not stainless steel) and it looks like the IV-2 http://www.seyberts.com/pechauer/ivory/2.htm ... but the points and butt are ebony, the diamonds are bigger, and it has 5 points instead of 4.

(Actually, it looks more like the "PEC07" with only 5 points and no signature): http://tinyurl.com/n8gf.

Can someone direct me where to go to research this? Or else email me at flippykitten@yahoo.com? Thanks for any help!
