View Full Version : Predator shaft for Dufferin Snealy Pete Cue
Hello Sid,
Can you match a Predator shaft for a Dufferin sneeky pete cue? My Dufferin "Phantom" a true wood-to-wood SP has a 5/16 x 14 pitch joint and that the male pin is located on the shaft and not on the butt like most other cues. If it can be done are there any extra charges for it or none?

Hello, Finally talked with KJ on that and he said he can do it. Same charges. One thing I forgot to ask is if he would need the shaft of your cue to get the joint off of to put on the Predator partial. Sorry, that slipped my mind. Just wanted to mention that it is a possibility.

Hi Sid,
What a coincidence, I just picked up a Dufferin Phantom last week.
When you say same charges above, does that mean the price as listed
on Seybert's website?
I don't know if it was clear, the Dufferin has NO collar. Is that understood?
Would it cost extra to have the shaft turned down to 12.4 mm?
Did you find out if you'd need the present shaft shipped to you to match up?
Thanks,
Steve Ellis.
Hi Steve,
The same price as quoted in this link about the 3rd post down (http://www.seyberts.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=116)
Nope will not need the shaft
Yep, no collar on the sneaky petes.
It is an extra $35.00 to have the shaft turned down.
Later,
Thanks Sid! BTW, is it possible not to have the 314 logo name to it?
well, yes. We most often do that with sneaky petes.
It does come with some risk. If it does not have the logo on the shaft, Predator has the right to refuse any warranty that is given with a Predtaor shaft. So, it is up to you.

Thank you for stating our policy Sid. Predator does not warranty shafts that do not have the "314" logo, even if it is one of our shafts. Anyone that is having a partial fit to their cue should make sure that the person doing the work does not forget to include installation of our logo.

Not really. We put on what Predator supplies and would imagine that Predator only wants the logo that they supply on their shafts.
