Metric Pin - Predator Shaft

My Showcase stick has a metric pin. If I ordered a 30 inch Predator shaft (that's right, one inch longer) for that stick, could Seybert's tap the shaft to fit?

The metric thread pitch for my Showcase cue is 1.5 x 10.
