View Full Version : Bad alignment on L-2021 sticks...

I have quite a few Lucasi cues from the L-20XX series in my collection. I have ordered more than one L-2021 to find a good example of one where the six points in the forearm align properly with the floating points in the butt.
It seems Lucasi has had quite a few alignment problems in some of their models, specifically L-2020, L-2021, LLE-4, etc. I have personal examples of each and have been lucky, but have gotten one or two that were unacceptable that I sent back.
Anyone else experience this or have comments? Thanks.

Can't believe not a single person has replied to this post...am I the only one that got badly aligned Lucasi sticks?
You might be. I had a 2010 that I sold when I bought my Predator, and it was beautiful. I only sold it because it was far too nice to leave sitting in a case.

Chinese workers paid pennies a day. Is it any wonder that quality suffers? For the same price you could get a cue made by american craftsmen who take pride in the final product.
A Lucassi cue is like a Yugo with a custom paint job. It may look nice and it may be affordable but underneath it is still a Yugo!
I've bought two for other people. Both were excellent in alignment. The hit isn't bad, and I found the quality to be great for the price. They were both L-2012's by the way.

Personally, I think the designs and the quality are great for the money...I just have had issues with the specific models I mentioned above...again, L-2020, L-2021, and LLE-4 in particular.

Dennis, I'm a sucker for detail...
For the money, they are a great cue that does the job. So they have fake ivory inlays instead of real ivory. Who cares. But, if you want real quaility, you buy a McDermott. But, then again, $ 200 vs $ 600+. Its your choice. Toyota or Lexus. Both get you where you want to go.
