I read on a forum you use the lowering price cue and the tip selection option as a way to unload used cues as new? and that since you replaced the tip no one would tell is this true? if so thats against the law

I really don't know how to respond to that.

No, we don't. That would be very stupid. How many of you guys would buy from us time after time if we were a slip shot organization like that.

If you get right down to it, we offer tip selection for a few reasons.

1. Customer service. If we can do something not only different, but better, then people will prefer their shopping experience with us. Bottom line is, more sales for us.

2. It is not like we are doing the tip changes for free. If you notice, there are labor prices involved with each change for a tip. It does take more time here at the store. Bottom line is, more sales for us.

3. The lowering price cue is just for fun. I try to find something a little unique out there and put it up for the lowering price cue. We have sold only one used lowering price cue to my knowledge and it was the Black Boar cue. And yes, it was clearly marked as used. It creates a little excitement and return visitors to our site. Bottom line is, more sales to us.

If you have any doubt about our business practices, please contact any of the manufactures of any of the products we offer not only here online but at our store and have been doing business with for years. If you need any help finding the numbers, drop me a call and I will be happy to provide them to you.

Also, as far as the lowering price cue that is listed, drop Pechauer a call. I received it from them specifically for the lowering price cue. Predator and Viking have also provided new cues for our lowering price cue.

It really is kind of a drag, because all the things you mentioned are things we implemented to make us stand out and be different. All those things also involve more paperwork, more labor, more tracking, and also, more things that can go wrong. We chose to go that extra mile to become as close to the store down the road to our customers as possible. Others online recourses probably realize the drawbacks to such policies and choose not to pursue them. That or they do not have the facilities, equipment or the skill to produce satisfactory results.

Or drop a call and offer to sell us a "just like new Predator 2" only shot with for two days. The response will be, sorry, but we don't deal with used cues. (unless the price is unbelievably low, then someone might pick it up for themselves.) The reason, of course, is that someone will accuse of selling used for new. A lot of good that has done us, we were accused anyway.

Yep, a little offended, but what can I do but try to tell you the truth. Come visit our store for a few days and see for yourself.

I'd be curious to know where that information came from. If it's from a competitor, that could be an unfair trade practice, or possibly tortious interference with business relations.

Lawyers . . . what would the world do without them.

As one of my clients told me once, "You know, you may be a real pain in the ass, but I'm glad you're MY pain in the ass." I think he meant it as a compliment.

Technically, you wouldn't be HIS pain in the ass . . . he would be paying you to be a pain in someone else's ass.

If I got paid per hour, I think I'd be making about .15, American.
