J-series vs Pro series

Is the only difference between these models besides inlays and cosmetics that the J-series uses an implex joint? Or am I looking at them wrong? And what is the balance like on each model? Am I to assume that a SS joint would be more forward weighted?

The pro series has the stainless collar and the inlays that are white are ivory inlays. You also get J. Pechauer to sign all of the Pro series cues.

The J series is imples jointed the white inlays are not ususally ivory. J. Pechauer does not sign these cues. Other than that they are the same animal and put together the same.
