Lucasi weight distribution?

Hi I was told that the lucasi cues feel much more balanced when cutting the weight bolt down from a 19 oz cue to 18.5 oz. Has anyone done this and felt a positive effect? The weight distribution on my L-ER (19oz) does feel a little butt heavy.

I have a Lucasi sneaky pete. Not long ago I removed the weight bolt for experimental reasons. Two things happened. First, I realized I had been playing with too heavy a cue. :? Second, and perhaps more importantly, I noticed the balance move forward considerably. Keep in mind that it is not a metal joint cue.
Positive effect :?: I would call that an understatement.
