I have the chance to pick up an unmolested 1940's vintage Brunswick Willie Hoppe Professional cue.
Overall all it is very nice, I'd say 85 on a scale of 1 to 100. It's biggest defect being a slight bow in the original shaft.
My interests are:
1 - What it would cost to have a 314 FAT match fitted to the butt without the Predator Cat label. I know what Seybert's gets for the blank, so I'm trying to get a feel for what adding the joint and fitting it to match the butt perfect would cost.
2 - The leather is very nice original. If it's not too expensive I may have the leather wrap replaced. An extremely close to original match is important to me.
3 - I think the cue will clean up very nice as is, however I am considering having the butt re-clear coated (For lack of a better phrase.) in an effort to make it as presentable as possible. Preserving the 90%+ label near the butt is critical in anything I would do and would also consider just re-clear coating that portion.
