Doug,

I'm going to have to admit that I'm not familiar with that particular model. I will say that I recently read (on another pool forum) that Joss cues are made in USA. Take it FWIW.

Maybe other of our members are more knowledgeable on this cue and would offer their input.

This cue has been marketed as JHC-05 but also as Joss "hustler" cue and Joss sneeky pete....

This is what I found about it:
Tip: 13.25 mm Triangle brand, hard
Ferrule: "Aegis Linen"- aegis is a linen based plastic that is designed to hit like ivory.
Shaft: 29" long with a 9" to 10" pro taper, hard rock maple
Joint: Wood to Wood
Pin: Size is 5/16" 14 pitch, stainless steel
Forearm: Hard Rock Maple with ebony Prongs and Cocobolo ring
Handle: Stained Curly Maple
Sleeve: Cocobolo
Plate: Black toned, and made of Herculite, a durable material that doesn't crack or break
Bumper: Threaded rubber with "Joss" emblem stamped on it

It is probably made in the USA.

You can get it really cheap here on Seybert's (http://www.seyberts.com/products/Joss_Hustler_Cue-100206-10011.html)

BTW, I wouldn't consider this cue to be "hustler" or "sneaky pete".... this cue has inlayed points unlike the true hustler/SP that has a full splice construction.
