View Full Version : 100 bucks

looking to spend 100 bucks on a jump/break and i was wondering what yall think would be the best to buy..i really have 3 choices in mind J&J, Kaiser, or even a panther..well really came here to ask you guys tell me preej.

I havnt played with any of the cues you listed but have a Players and for the money it is great. I have some expensive playing cues, but cant find it worth it to buy a more expensive JB bc I really like the Players so much.

All made by the same factory for the same dealer.
The only different is that the J&J has a metal quick release joint at both joints and the Kaiser and Panther have the wooden joint as the main joint and the metal quick release at the jump/break joint.
The Panther also have two metal rings at the lump/break joint.

The cues with the wooden pin have a more solid feel to them but they get the job done just the same.

The Players is nice. the quality is just a little bit higher then the J&J SP jump/break and it does use a nicer wood for the butt (personal preference).
The only problem is that it comes with a regular ferrule and a LePro tip so it is very hard to jump with it unless you modify it.

I see....

If I remember correctly then it has a metal sleeved joint right?
I prefer a wood to wood or a phenolic joint for break cues and for jump cues as well.

well what would i have to do to get that kinda service here on seyberts? do i just order a players and then send the pool stick to KJ and ask him to customize it or can i just order it from KJ?
