I'll admit that Poison cues have a certain sporty look to them that catches the eye. I've always been leery of cues with elevated accents though. Take the Anthrax series for instance. They have elevated bumps or scres in the rings, "lugs" if you will. I'd be afraid to play with one on my table. The first time one of those catches on the rail and throws off my shot, I'd be irritated. If it causes damage to the rail, I think I'd totally flip out.

I agree, too. As far as a playing cue, decent for the money, would not own one though, well maybe the break cue
