I was not sure where to place this so I posted here
Last week, I bought a used Harvard pool table off CraigsList.com. The lady had it listed for about 30 days. She wanted $150 and we negociated to $115.
It is nothing special as you can tell by the price. It is non slate 6ft 8in x 3ft 8in table. I am just a casual player who likes to have friends over to play. If I find I play it often, I will probably upgrade in the future. I have heard stories of people paying thousands of dollars for a table and not using it like they thought. It is in a spare room off the dining room (not a basement) so I see myself using it often. :)
Hopefully, the picture will download alright.
Does anyone else have pictures to share of their billiard room?

Not bad. I recently acquired a non slate 3x7 table and although slightly unlevel (the surface, not via the legs) near the rack area, it actually plays quickly and has small pockets. I set it up for 3 days in the living room, then had to store it away in a back bedroom. A fun 3 days I'll tell you that. I kept the breaks as quiet as I could and wouldnt break after about 8pm, as to not bother the neighbors.
I'm in an apartment so space is of crucial value, and unfortunately I cannot have a table taking up a whole living room, lol.
Before I moved out of my parents house I had a 4x8 1" slate table I picked up for $1000 clean. It was very nice. Eventually I had to sell it to pay for truck repairs, but alas, one day I'll get another one like that. Hopefully 4.5x9 though.
