Is it possible to change the predator 314-2 5/16x18 to a quick release or something at all? If so how much this will cost?
Arbey,
Yes, what you ask can be done.
You'll have to call Seybert's for cost as I don't do pricing.

I just called them and they said they can change the pin but they wont be able to match the collar of my existing cue...
Arbey,
I thought we were talking about a shaft insert and not a pin.
Generally the ring-work can be changed at the client's request but that's again, a pricing issue. I don't do CNC'd ring-work either because the returns wouldn't justify the time and effort to write a program for every different custom cuemakers shaft that comes in. In that instance I suggest that the shaft be sent back to the original builder for the ring-work because he's already written the program and should have it saved.
I don't know what cue this shaft is for but there is something that I should make you aware of. The diameter at the joint of a 5/16 x 18 is .830/.835. The diameter of a Uni-Loc shaft is .840/.845. If you require a specific diameter, please let me know in advance. Thanx, KJ
