View Full Version : It's me ... again ...
:Copy of waving:
I come back with some questions about the packaging of the pool cue, the time and taxes (deliveries in France) ...
On packaging for transport, what is it?
Regarding the delivery time how much I need in time for it to arrive?
I chose to buy joints protections, when I select "1S and 1B" does that mean "one for the shaft and one for the But" ?
With the price that you advertise on the site how much should I add to taxes?
I am truly sorry ... But this is the first time I buy in the USA and I do not want to make a mistake ...
Thank you very much for your help.

Hello Béné,
I have had the very same questions almost a year ago when I wanted to order my 5k2 pred. Since then I have placed many (and I do mean: many) orders here at Seybert's and had no problem at all!
To answer your questions:
If you order one single cue it will be shipped in a tube that is made of some kind of extra-extra strong cartboard that has got a wall thickness of approximately 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch or so. It is really-reeeeeeeeeeally durable, you can do whatever you want with it, what's inside won't get hurt. Inside the tube you'll probably find your cue in a soft vinyl case, inside that is a plastic bag and finally... your cue.
As for the joint protector (jp) issue: yes, 1B-1S means One for the Butt of the cue and for One Shaft.
I always ordered my cues with UPS Saver delivery and wouldn't go for USPS at all. In that way it would take about 2 days to ship the cue into your country and then it's the customs' turn.
As for the taxes: contact Seybert's they might be able to tell you what is what, I can't give you information about France's custom taxes and the way it works.
Send Rick or Sid a PM here or use the 'Contact Us' option at the homepage.
Good luck and feel free to ask if you have any questions,
It is a pleasure to come here.
I am really happy to read your post.
Now I can buy my pool in safe.
I am going talk about this site at all my friends, players, in France.
I am really, really, glad to have had met you.
I am going to write to seybert's in order to have some informations for taxes ...
Sincerely,
