Weight change

I have a Pechauer Venture 2 cue It weighs 18.5 I am wanting to lighten it up a bit ,18 oz or a little lighter, I took the bumper off and there is no weight bolt to remove, is this something you guys can do , or do you think I should contact Pechauer?

I'm going to suggest that you contact Pechauer. I'd like to know what they tell you because in my mind there is nothing short of major surgery that's going to get it under 18 oz. The cue has a steel joint, right ?

Yes it does have steel joint. I will ask them but I may be stuck with what I got.Thanks.

KJ you are correct, Pechauer said it is what it is, that is the nature of the beast, being half ebony. I would like to know how Seyberts sold these cues to people who wanted them 18 oz, because that was listed as an option? Maby that is a question for Rick, but pechauer said that most all of these cues were 19 to 19.5 , and they did not believe they could have got mine to 18.5. Guess Ill have to find some scales.
