Hi KJ, I just wanted to ask if you know Dale Perry and what do you think about his Cues.
Actually, I have met Mr. Dale Perry. I was doing cue repair at the Super Billiards Expo several years ago and he asked me to do some clean-up work on one of his cues as he hadn't brought a lathe with him. Nice fellow.
I've never played with a DP but feel that the fit/finish is as good as anyones and the designs in his cues are very contemporary. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the Radial pin used in conjunction with a ss joint although I've never heard anyone else complain about it.
I'm told that his cues play well but the resale value has taken a hit due to his marketing techniques.

KJ is very right on that one, the resale value of the DP cues are very-very low - so low that if you get one I assume that you won't be able to sell it below the price you got as their current price is so low...
What is more is that I wouldn't get one as I have heard a few issues with his warranty / customer service, but that's just me and there must be many players who are satisfied with his cues...
...but I would spend my money on something else.

Hey guy. The DP well...I own one. Very pretty cue. I paid a couple hundred or so for it. To be honest with you...of all the cues I own it shoots the worst. That may be the effect of the shaft but it doesn't feel the same as the others either. I wouldn't expect to get what I paid for it if I sold it and even though they are all one of a kind there is certainly nothing special about them outside of that. I have 2 meucci's (one Original and one with black dot shafts) and 2 predators. And they are all my first choice over the DP.

I also have purchased one of these e-bay specials from Dale , I asked him why prices are so low he said summer time specials. Although I do feel for the people who have his older cues and the resale dropping drasticaly, because of his marketing technics, the cue is very well constructed and hits well and I will probally not sell it, and after I get a 314-2 shaft for it from seyberts I'm shure I will be happy with it. With all that said, if I knew then what I know now I would not have bought it, so be cautious when buying one of his cues if your looking to resell it.

Well, I'm sorry for you guys that don't feel happy with your DP Cues, but I'm very happy with mine. My first one I bought on the internet and after I did some research I contact DP himself and had him make me another cue to my specs. And let me say this, I've played with a bunch of cues and to me, I prefer DP cue's hit over all of them. I feel no vibration at all when hitting. I have his DP-R shaft and 2 months ago I bought a 312^2 and it just gotten better. Right now I'm working on a new design for anohter DP Cue.
These are my 2 DP Cues.

I bought one of Dale's showcase cues, it is probably one of the nicest looking cues I have ever seen, when I lay my McDermott Knight next to it, you really can't figure out which one you'd like to own. They both are decorated with the ebony/ turquoise theme and look absolutely beautiful, They also both hit very nicely.
Great work Dale
