View Full Version : Action Elite or Standard Introke?

been shopping around for a good 2x4 case on this site. I've seen both Action Elite and Instroke Cowboy Standard and I just love the way they both look (but I find the Action a nose ahead). The Instroke is slightly more expensive (by about $20) but I've read somewhere that it has its advantages (strong and well constructed case, up and down storage). Which one do u think I should get? I've never seen the actual cue cases - just pictures - which makes this decision even more difficult. I'm sure I won't regret either purchase but I really want the "better" case.

Of course, the Action Elite case is genuine leather while Instroke Standard is not. But I really want to get info on storage capabilities (durability, flexibility etc.)

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I would opt for the Instroke over the Action Elite anyday. I have a few Instroke cases and have never regreted purchasing any of them. While the Action Elite may be made of leather, the Instroke will more than likely have better construction providing you years of worry free service. I am always skeptical of the "Instroke" copy's that I keep seeing pop up everywhere. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $20.00 and get an Instroke, you won't be disappointed.

I own a Guiseppe, neither of the ones you're looking at, but from posts I have seen on this message board and on the newsgroup rec.sport.billiard I'd go with the Instroke. Besides the fact that everything seems to indicate that Instroke are built better to begin with, John Collins of Instroke clearly stands behind his product 100%.
