I am at Debrecen at the moment (it's Hungary's 2nd largest city) but when I am at Budapest, home, I'd post a few pictures of my own designs if you'd like to see a few... I've been drawing cues at school during the more boring lessons - and sometimes at home too.
I'm always thinking about what kind of cues would I build if I had the chance :o)

Yes it did, I'm very proud of this one. Now he's doing the shafts. 2 Lake salvage wood shafts. This wood has been underwater for 130 years, just as good or better than old growth wood. 1 shaft is 30" and the other is 29" 3/4" Ivory ferrules with Hard layered tips. The shaft collars will have the same rings as the joint rings. The joint protectors will be solid Ebony and the one for the pin will have rings like the joint rings also.

I have a question for you Jeff:
Is the ivory joint on this cue a solid piece or is a sleeve over wood/phenolic?
In fact, of all the cues that you have which ones have a sleeve as opposed to a whole piece?

Just got back from vacation.
Answer to your question is, a solid ivory joint. The only sleeved ivory joints I have, are from Bender & Capone. That's the way they build their cues, sleeved ivory only, well, at least I have never seen a solid ivory jointed cue from either of these 2 cue makers & I have seen a lot of cues from these 2 cue makers. I prefer a solid ivory joint over a sleeved, actually that's my favorite joint with a G-10 pin.

These are for you.
Is there a gap between the ferrules and the wood on the shafts?
or is it just something that came out in the picture

No gap, that's the way it came out in the photos.
