I think the reason the pictures came out better than usual is because I took them outside. Camera is nothing special Canon A530 maybe 100 bucks.
Shot on a white bath towel on my deck. Camera set on auto.

Yes, it really is very important to choose the right place for shooting!

I took a few pics too and it made hell a lot of difference! When the sun shines on the cue(s) the finish, the color and grain of the wood looks much more beautiful than when shooting inside using lamps.

I love the 2 Carolina cues the best and the one with the Peacock inlays is an awesome looking cue. I have 3 Carolina cues on the way, they say they hit like a Tasc, since he taught the guys how to build cues.
