I'm considering buying an OB-1 for my Viking F-99, it's got a quick release (joint #5). There is a shaft made for the Viking QR joint, should I still send the butt to Seybert's?

FAH,
Viking cues are pretty consistent at the joint. If it was built for a Viking QR joint, chances are it's going to be pretty close if not right on. Why don't you wait until you get the shaft & see how close it is. If it doesn't meet with your satisfaction, you can send it to us at whatever time is convenient for you.
