Hi,

I am yet to receive a response to my ticket 3C3340

sorry for being a pain.... but this is my first order from you and
it is of a relatively high value, so I would really appreciate a quick response from You,

any advice from readers of this forum is welcome!

Thanks
Andras

here is the story:

To whom it may concern,

I have just received the below mail , and subsequently checked my transaction history on my Account.
The bank confirmed back that HUF 388.585 (Local currency equivalent of the value of my order of approx. 1900 USD) is successfully blocked by yourselves on 06.03.07 10:52.
This means that in the next 15days you can directly debit my account without any further notification or approval.

Therefore I am not able to initiate a wire transfer until you cancel the above blocking.
If cancellation is technically difficult, please re-consider processing my original order based on the successful blocking of funds.

Your prompt reply is appreciated
Regards,
Andras Varadi

PS: Let me also note, that it seems to be very risky to transfer funds based on an instruction received in a plain, unsecured email. I suggest you post your wire transfer details on the web site to reduce fraud risk. Thanks

Szia András!

I'm Hungarian just like you (remélem nem probléma, ha angolul válaszolok, talán zokon vennék, ha ők nem érthetnék, hogy mit kommunikálunk ;o)) and I've ordered from Seybert's either - eventhough in a much smaller value ($500).

After I've placed my order Seybert's sent me the item I've ordered immediately! What is quite strange as one of the local banks (OTP in this case) showed me at my account that I have a pendulous amount of money of 95,000 HUF. The money was hanging for about 4-5 days - that means that OTP was not sure about the exact place of the money they only knew that that amount of money has been removed from my account. All that story is due to show you that our banks are quite slow.. I have many other examples but I don't think any more is required.

I reckon that Seybert's has already sent that HUF 388.585 back to your account it's just the the bank that requires time to realise money has been removed and then replaced to your account. I think it is only a question of time.

Ahogy itt a fórumon mondani szokták (és mindig valóvá is vált): "Don't worry, Seybert's will take care of you"

Hi,

I have checked with my Bank and unfortunately they have not received a cancellation request from yourselves.

I was told, that they were supposed to receive a FAX to +3614506051 with all details to request cancellation of the transaction...

Can you please confirm what steps you took to void the transaction!

Thanks in advance
Andras

El Bandi, you would probably get quicker responses if you email Seybert's direct. If you go on to their home page, there is a link under the Seybert's banner that says "contact us". The reason I tell you this is that if the people at Seybert's are having a busy day, then they may not have time to check the forum. If you email them direct you will more than likely receive a quicker response.

That's the truth!!! If you've ever actually visited the store you'd see that somedays they barely have time to breath much less get on a computer... that's how dedicated to there customers they really are... If you are in the store you WILL get service as quickly as possible! ( unfortunately sometimes it's at the expense of the forum ) but I know I would be mad if I saw someone on a computer instead of helping me!

You'll be taken care of though... that's for sure!
