Aaaaalright, Thanks For The Invitation! :D :D And whenever you come to Hungary just make a topic with the title: "POOH, I'm off to Hungary!" and I'll write ASAP :D Then we can visit all the best poolhalls around here, like this: And yess, these are Brunswick Metros. A few months ago the last small snooker table has moved and there's also a new Metro on it's place on the right hand column... By he way, this is where the competition was organised

Hey, thank you for all these kind words about the local poolhall. It really looks good, and if there are too many competitors we can use the lower tables too - which are Centurions and these are not in their best form, but they should do the trick ;o) Here's the lower story:

Why is that a drawback? It's pretty much the most popular color chalk to use anyway...

You don't HAVE to switch. I use tan chalk on my red felt at home... it stands out after a session and reminds me to clean it up. This helps keep the table nice and clean so my hand doesn't get all dingy from a long session of shooting ( it helps the rolls stay more consistant too if you have a regular cleaning method); also the spots on the table can help if you use them for reference points on some of your tougher shots.

Well the reason im not a big fan of blue chalk is cuz i dont like the look of a blue shaft...but i switched to blue because my little bro and i went 50/50 on the table and he doesnt want tan streaks on the cloth and i respect that
